CONTENU CONCEPTUEL ET STRUCTURE MORPHOLOGIQUEEN ARABE. LE CAS DE « لَعفأ » (ʔAFΣALA)

Abstract

This research paper attempts to investigate the form of /ʔafςala/ in the Arabic
grammar, presenting the related syntactic and semantic issues. It also presents the features,
values and categorizations applicable to this form and its relationship with other verbal
forms. The description and classification of the issue at stake are based on modern
linguistic approaches. As a result of this investigation, we highlight the importance of
categories and the clear role they play in the classifications of the verbal forms.
